Berke Çelik
Berke is the Director of Health Progress Hub. Previously, Berke worked with the Lead Exposure Elimination Project (LEEP) and the Alliance for Reducing Microbial Resistance (ARMOR), and worked at the Global Policy Research Group, where he helped launch Health Progress Hub and led the Development Program.
He studied philosophy at Boğaziçi University, where he co-founded a society for impactful careers. Berke is interested in how philanthropy and NGOs can play a role in strengthening health systems in low-income countries. His other interests include economic growth and AI policy. Berke is also the co-founder of AI Safety Türkiye and advises Effective Giving Türkiye.

Estelle Florens
Estelle is Co-Executive Director of Effective Altruism South Africa, where she leads efforts to connect people with opportunities to create meaningful change in areas like global health, poverty alleviation, and animal welfare. She coordinates a continent-wide network of approximately 40 organisers across 8 working groups, and mentors leaders of groups primarily in developing countries to help them build impactful programs. Estelle supports Health Progress Hub and has coordinated support for other global health organisations working on preventing lead exposure and delivering effective health interventions. She has led the planning and execution of major conferences in South Africa, Nigeria and Malaysia. With experience in coordination, entrepreneurship, and government engagement, she is dedicated to reducing suffering and addressing the bottlenecks for high-impact work in underserved regions.
Strategy LeadCommunity & Communications LeadCeren D. Karabulut
Ceren leads community engagement and communications at Health Progress Hub, driving outreach strategies that create impactful collaborations. She also serves as Co-Director of Effective Altruism Turkey, where she has hands-on experience running programs and organizing community events.
Her professional background includes Vodafone, where she held a management role overseeing B2B SaaS products, focusing on elevating customer satisfaction and refining product journeys. During her time at United Nations Development Program, she was part of the communications team and managed Sustainable Development Goals’ social media accounts.
VolunteerTuana Aksu
Tuana volunteers at the Health Progress Hub with a focus on global health fellowship development, curating resources in global health R&D, and exploring neglected areas in global health.
Currently pursuing her Master's in regenerative medicine, she is interested in the intersection of biomedical innovation and global health equity, aiming to contribute to research that advances accessible healthcare in LMIC. Beyond her academic and volunteering activities, she enjoys photography and creating playlists.
